Chris Pahlow is an independent writer/director based in Melbourne. His debut feature film PLAY IT SAFE was released theatrically in September 2015, with TheMusic.com.au praising it as a film that would “resonate with every struggling musician you know” and a number of reviews noting Chris as a “talent to watch”.

Chris has spent the last ten years bringing stories to life through music videos, doccos, & short films. He is currently developing a number of original film and television projects, while also working as a freelance screenwriter and script editor.

Chris is a big believer in independent cinema and is passionate about helping young filmmakers find their voice. In 2015 he co-hosted the The Movie Pack podcast with Clayton Jacobson (KENNY). He currently teaches acting (with a focus on improvisation) at Verve Studios, and has also taught Film Production at both Swinburne and Deakin Universities.
