A few weeks back we launched the video for Mantra's latest single The Fear (check it out here if you haven't already). Mantra not only acts in Play It Safe, but has also put a lot of work into the film's soundtrack, so it was a real pleasure to be able to continue collaborating with him. A lot of Play It Safe's core creative team (including DP Sherwin Akbarzadeh and editor Raechel Harding) also came on board with this video, so it was very much a family affair which was great.
We just wrapped up shooting the video for Allday's next single "That Phone Is A Brick". As soon as I heard the track I knew we had to do a video for it. The song features a banging beat from One Above, and the lyrics had me thinking up ideas straight away. Both Allday and I were super excited by the concept, and we've been working around the clock to get it shot before he heads off on tour during April.
Late last year I directed and shot a fun little video for the one and only Allday Chubbyboy, and at long last the video is now online for you all to enjoy. It premiered last Tuesday on the Triple J Blog and has been doing pretty well so far, racking up more than 15,000 hits in less than a week.
You can check out the video below, I hope you dig it!
Massive thanks to the whole crew for helping to bring this crazy vision to life. You can check us out hard at work in some behind the scenes pics taken by Mei Ling Wong:

Yesterday we shot a bunch of stuff around Sandringham, Beaumaris, and Mentone for our video for "Going Away Song" by our good friends Watson/Liow. The clip stars AFI nominated actress Irene Chen and Megan Gigacz who both did an amazing job. Yesterday was our most physically challenging day of shooting so far. Many thanks to the whole cast and crew who performed above and beyond the call of duty on a very tricky shoot. Here's a few behind the scenes stills:

And, just for fun, here's a few extra shots taken at a test shoot we did a week before principal photography.
Last Sunday KKP wrapped up principal photography for the new Spacecadet Lullabies video. Many thanks to the entire cast & crew for doing such an amazing job. We got some incredible footage, and I couldn't have hoped for things to go better.
Here's some behind the scenes stills from the day, captured by the one and only Chloe Gordon:
