Chris Pahlow is an award winning director, renowned for his unique and diverse work in both live action & animation. He cut his teeth as part of the groundbreaking "D.I.Y Art Films" collective (described as "the future of Australian Animation" by MIAF director, Malcom Turner), before studying under some of the best in the business (including "Kenny" director Clayton Jacobson). Chris is currently directing for Melbourne studio Karate School Films, with a focus on music videos.

Chris' work has screened at festivals around the world, and his 2006 film "Fraught" won Best Australian Film at the 2007 Melbourne International Animation Festival. For Chris, concept & aesthetic are inseparable. His roots as an indie filmmaker have taught him the importance of experimenting & pushing boundaries. With each new project, Chris attempts to create something unique and special, and he is committed to bringing each concept to full fruition.

"I can't speak highly enough about Chris Pahlow and the dedication he has to his craft. Chris has a very healthy work ethic and always brings something unique and refreshing to the table. Of all the up and coming filmmakers I've worked with, Chris is by far the most professional, disciplined, and encouraging of them all."
- Clayton Jacobson (Director of "Kenny")
